CIES Activities
During 2003 and 2004, CIES has:
- Facilitated exchanges between the University of British Columbia School of Nursing and Guru Nanak College of Nursing (for students & faculty).
- Created an organizational development plan for Guru Nanak Trust through a series of planning sessions held at Dhahan-Kaleran.
- Implemented a primary health care project in rural villages.
- Established an endowment fund for bursaries and scholarships for students at Guru Nanak institutions (senior secondary school and nursing programs).
- Continued to support educational endeavours, health programs and job creation in rural Punjab through our partnership with Guru Nanak Trust.
- Assessed policies and practices at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital.
