Some background:
- Support goes directly to students of Guru Nanak College of Nursing in Dhahan-Kaleran, Punjab, India
- The Guru Nanak College of Nursing programs are recognized by the Punjab Government, the Punjab Nurses Registration Council and the Indian Nursing Council.
- Tuition alone costs approximately $1200 CAD for one student in nursing school per calendar year.
- Student jobs and loans are rare in India.
